About

About anywhere

anywhere, at anywhere.so, is an agent-native cloud for the personal software and internal tools your AI coding agents build. Paste one setup prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any agent with a terminal, and your agent installs the anywhere CLI, signs you in, and deploys your apps in one command. Every app runs in its own isolated gVisor Linux sandbox on a persistent disk, sits behind Google and GitHub sign-in by default, and shares by email like Google Drive from a single home screen.

What you and your agents can run

Why anywhere is different

Your agent is the cloud engineer

Instead of wrestling with a cloud console, IAM roles, or Docker registries, your AI agent operates the cloud directly through the anywhere CLI and agent skill. One prompt deploys an app (anywhere deploy), reads build and runtime logs (anywhere logs), sets encrypted environment variables (anywhere secrets set), opens a shell or queries SQLite inside the live container (anywhere exec), or copies your code and database back to your laptop (anywhere pull). Errors return structured codes that explain what failed and how your agent can fix it.

Private by default, shared like Google Drive

Every app on anywhere—even a static site—starts restricted to its owner behind automatic HTTPS at *.anywhereapp.so. Only you can open an app until you invite someone by email as a member (who can open and use the app from their home screen at anywhere.so) or a developer (who can also pull the code, read logs, run commands, and deploy updates with their own agent), or deliberately make a web app or static site public from Share or anywhere apps access <app> public.

Isolated Linux sandboxes with persistent disk

Each app runs in its own gVisor (runsc) sandbox on Ubuntu Linux, walled off from other users and from your other apps. Unlike ephemeral serverless functions, every app has a persistent disk that keeps SQLite databases, uploaded files, and apt packages intact across restarts and deploys.

Pay for what your apps use, with a hard spend cap

You pay for the memory, CPU, disk, and outbound data your apps actually consume rather than paying per app. Free includes up to 3 apps and $3 of monthly usage for $0/month; Pro includes any number of apps and $10 of monthly usage for $10/month; Team starts at $10/developer/month with a shared $10 monthly runtime allowance and free app users. When an account reaches 100% of its included usage (and any optional $10 or $25 Pro top-ups), apps pause automatically—so a runaway loop or traffic spike can never cause a surprise cloud bill.

Who uses anywhere

The team behind anywhere

anywhere is built by Michael and Guru at DigitalCarbon Inc., the team behind Orca One. We build software for the way people and AI agents work together: agents handle the terminal, builds, and operations through purpose-built CLIs and skills, while people get one calm place to open and share what their agents build. Questions and feedback go to [email protected].

Key facts

Frequently asked questions

How is anywhere different from Railway, Fly, or Vercel?

Those platforms are built to host public production products and leave login, permissions, and app organization to you. anywhere is built for the apps your AI agents build, from personal software to internal tools: every app is private by default, comes with Google and GitHub sign-in, shares by email like Google Drive, lives on your home screen, and pauses automatically at your plan’s usage limit so you never get a surprise bill.

How do I set up anywhere with Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor?

Paste Set up anywhere for me: https://anywhere.so/setup into your agent. Your agent reads /setup, installs the anywhere CLI and agent skill, gives you a link to sign in with Google or GitHub, and is ready to deploy any folder containing an app.toml. See the documentation for manual CLI setup.

Can I host OpenClaw, n8n, or an MCP server on anywhere?

Yes. Any app on anywhere can run a Node or Python web server, an MCP server, a background worker, or a public single-container Docker image such as OpenClaw or n8n on its own persistent disk, already behind your Google or GitHub sign-in.

Who can see my apps?

Only you, until you invite someone by email or deliberately make a web app or static site public. Every app starts restricted to its owner behind sign-in through our gateway. When you share by email, you choose whether someone is a member who can use the app or a developer who can also update it with their agent; if you want anyone with the link to open a web app or static site without signing in, you can switch its access to public from Share or the CLI.

Does anywhere prevent surprise cloud bills?

Yes. Free includes $3 of monthly usage for $0, and Pro includes $10 of monthly usage for $10. At 75% and 90% of your monthly allowance, the portal and CLI warn you; at 100%, your apps pause while keeping their disks and data intact until usage resets or you upgrade or add a $10 or $25 top-up.

What can I run, and what are the limits?

Web apps, background workers, and static sites in Node, Python, or anything installable with apt on Ubuntu Linux, plus public single-container Docker images, each on its own persistent disk. An app can use up to 1 shared vCPU, 2 GiB of memory and 10 GiB of disk on Free, or 4 shared vCPUs, 16 GiB of memory and 100 GiB of disk on Pro. Private Docker registries, multi-container Compose stacks, and raw TCP/UDP ports outside HTTP and WebSockets aren’t supported yet.

Who owns the code and data in my apps?

You do. Every app is a folder on a persistent Linux disk, and anywhere pull <app> /app <dest> copies your code, uploaded files, or SQLite database back to your computer whenever you want.
